Assessments to provide insight into your value drivers and motivations behind your behaviors

Self-Awareness is a key part of creating emotional intelligence and leadership effectiveness. Crescendo Coaching Group provides professional and validated approaches to assess more than just personality traits. In the business world, how others see you is your reality. Our professional assessments uncover the reputation you are creating for yourself and provide insight into your value drivers and motivations behind your behaviors. Assessments are available both as part of a coaching engagement or as a stand-alone tool.

Team assessments spotlight how the team views itself from an outside-in approach. Behaviors and perspectives are captured and discussed so effective actions can be implemented. Post assessments assess the team’s progress towards their goals. Frequently Asked Questions

We are certified in the Hogan Assessments which have been proven for over 30 years to measure a person’s reputation in the workplace. Where some assessments only measure personality from the perspective of how you see yourself, the Hogan Assessments combine statistically valid data correlations to identify how people will perform and fit the organization.

We carefully debrief the data from the assessment with you in relation to your work and career context so you gain greater insight and self-awareness of your strengths and potential blind spots. During this 90-minute debrief, we also work with you to customize an action plan to support your growth and amplify your effectiveness.

The Hogan assessments include three separate views that when combined produce powerful insights into how others really see you and why you may behave the way you do. This comprehensive approach assesses 28 primary behavioral dimensions and 124 subscale dimensions statistically proven to validly predict your work performance.

The three assessments include:

Motives, Values & Preferences Inventory – Describing your core values, goals and interests that determine satisfaction and drive your career.

Hogan Personality Inventory –  Describing how you manage stress, interact with others, approach work tasks, and solve problems.

Hogan Development Survey – Describing behaviors that emerge during times of stress, potentially damaging relationships, and derailing careers.

The Hogan assessments differentiate themselves from many of the popular personality assessments in the market due to their validity and reliability. With over 30 years of independent research and over 10 million assessments, the Hogan assessments have been proven to be valid in predicting work performance and reliable, so that assessment results do not vary based on the time or context in which you take the assessment. Hogan also updates its measurements every 5 years and validates results across cultures, genders, and types of organizations.

The assessment provides you a profile view based on statistically valid and reliable data. This is where the journey begins. The self-awareness you gain from the assessment starts from the 90-minute debrief with your coach and expands to real behavioral change through the enhanced personal development you gain through your professional coaching engagement

After you complete the assessment, we receive your data summary of the 28 primary behavioral dimensions and 124 dimension subscales. After we analyze the data, we create a summary report highlighting your profile. Then we will debrief your profile with you during a 90-minute coaching session. Based on our dialog, we will work with you to create a customized action plan to better leverage your strengths and address your areas of concern.
