Group Coaching

Join Others In Their Personal Growth Journey

Group coaching offers many of the values of Individual Coaching, but in a group setting. Participants join other professionals committed to amplifying their personal performance and leadership effectiveness in small groups of up to 8 people. Meetings are held virtually on Zoom. The small group environment provides the added benefit of gaining insights from others in the coaching session and learning from their personal experiences. Personal accountability is an important aspect of any kind of growth opportunity, and working on yourself as part of a group is an excellent way to set realistic goals, to stay on track, and to maintain accountability.

Professional Group Coaching Services help individuals feel supported, motivated, inspired, and safe. Crescendo Coaching Group offers group coaching sessions that focus on the individual, which allows a group of individuals to meet their unique goals in a group setting. Group coaching focuses on individuals, despite being in a group setting, and differs fromĀ Team Coaching, where coaching focus is on the intact team as its own entity. Focus areas for group personal and business coaching sessions include many of the common issues that might arise in individual coaching, such as dealing with your personal narrative/inner critic or getting more comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback.

What To Expect

In group coaching, up to 8 participants meet monthly to discuss a planned focus topic in a Zoom meeting. The licensed coach provides the focus topic based on the initial input of the group. During the 90-minute sessions, participants have the opportunity to receive one-on-one coaching in the safe presence of the group, and group members are invited to share their thoughts, experiences, and learnings to help each other grow their self-awareness and uncover their better selves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our goal is to provide real coaching value in a group setting. The amount of coaching time you will receive directly is somewhat controlled by you and how much you share regarding your relationship to the coaching topic. The coach and group combined will agree at the outset on how many individuals will receive coaching during each session, and the coach will monitor the coaching process to ensure this agreement is implemented.

Yes! Many clients who initially experience coaching in a group setting want to continue their personal growth and development by selecting an Individual Coaching engagement.

One value of group coaching is the diversity of thought and approaches different people bring. This variety provides fertile ground for personal growth. Groups organized through an organization may target people in common roles. Groups offered to the general public may focus on a specific theme or leadership development area.
